FREEDOM FOR IRAN
14.02.2026
Project curated by: Vanessa Wenwieser
This project aims to show our solidarity with the protest movement in Iran against the regime and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. For 47 years, the Iranian people have suffered under this cruel totalitarian regime, which keeps its citizens poor despite the country’s vast resources and denies them the freedom they deserve. Any form of dissent is met with torture, imprisonment, or even death.
The regime once again revealed its violent nature when people revolted in January 2026. The government carried out one of its deadliest crackdowns, reportedly killing between 30,000 and 90,000 of its own citizens, while imposing an internet blackout to prevent the truth from reaching the outside world.
They urgently need support and solidarity from the global community, as more people are being tortured and killed every day. May Iran soon be free and flourish as it deserves. The Iranian people—especially the women—have shown extraordinary courage.
